1 Tonsillitis or Swollen Tonsils – Overview

Inflammation of tonsils is known as Tonsillitis. Basically, tonsils are the two oval-shaped pads of tissue at the back and both sides of the throat. Several times, tonsillitis is caused by an infection with a common virus, but infectious infections can also be a cause of tonsillitis in people of all ages. An individual can recover from severe tonsillitis within 7-10 days. However, some individuals with chronic tonsillitis may grieve from continuous symptoms of tonsillitis for a longer period of time and may need to go through the surgical process called tonsillectomy for removal of the tonsils.

This medical condition is common in kids and teenagers but people of any age can also develop tonsillitis often.

Mix a ½ teaspoon in 4 ounces warm water and stir until the salt is dissolved in the water and then gargle with that water to swish it through the mouth for a couple of seconds. According to the experts, gargling with the apple cider vinegar may help halt the materials of tonsillitis. Get 1 teaspoon of ACV and mix it in a cup of warm water. Gargle with this liquid for 2 to 3 times a day and it will lose the tonsil stones down over time. However, possibilities of digestive issues and tooth decay is always there when using apple cider vinegar for gargling.

7 Cotton Swabs

Most of the people often use cotton swabs to sweep the tonsil stones from throat but the method comes with a risk of injury.
